NOSA Symposium 2016

The 2016 NOSA Symposium will be held at the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University, Denmark, April 4-6

The symposium will include topics such as aerosol formation and growth, solid aerosol particles, chemical composition of aerosol, air pollution and health, and much more.

Keynote speakers include:

Prof. Markku Kulmala, Helsinki University: ”Aerosol formation and growth”

Prof. Dr. Bernadett Weinzierl, University of Vienna: "Long-range transport of aerosols: new insights from airborne measurements and model simulations"

Assoc. Prof. Jason Surrat, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: ”Multiphase Chemistry Promotes Isoprene-derived Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation: Implications for Air Quality, Climate and Public Health” 

Prof. Michael Brauer, The University of British Columbia: ”A global perspective on particulate matter air pollution and health”

 

 

REGISTRATION:

Deadline for registration is March 14, 2016. Abstract deadline is January 25, 2016. ABSTRACT DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 1, 2016.

The cost for registration is 230€.

Student registration fee will be 140€.

The fee includes: Icebreaker, Tutorials, Lab tours, Lunch, Coffee and Conference Dinner.

Icebreaker will be held in the beautiful greenhouses of Aarhus Botanical Garden.

The NOSA 2016 Tutorials (April 4) will be given by Assoc. Prof. Jason Surratt (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and Prof. Michael Brauer (The University of British Columbia).
