Info about event

Location

The Kitchen, Innovation Hub, Universitetsbyen 14, 8000 DK-Aarhus

Would you like to attack a real-world challenge with your scientific knowledge? Do you want to see if “Innovation” is something that you can do? At this Hackathon event, you will spend an intense day putting your skills to work in cooperation with other researchers and students from the Natural and Technical Sciences at Aarhus University.

Together with the other participants you will work with ideas and solutions for a sustainable future. The focus of the Hackathon is Circular Economy – you will use your competencies to discover and develop ideas and solutions for products that can be shared, reused, repaired, or recycled to minimize the environmental impact on our planet.

What will I get out of it?

The Hackathon will supplement your “Scientific Method” with a “Discovery and Design Process” tool, which can be applied in your more basic university research. You will be given the opportunity to pitch your ideas to experienced innovators from local startups and hear their input on how your ideas could be tested in the real world.

What should I bring?

We will provide everything you need for the Hackathon – just bring yourself and your skills/stamina.
