Merete will be one of the speakers of the new talk series ‘De største løsninger’ (‘The Biggest Solutions’). In this series, selected scientists present their views on what the world could look like if we implement the most radical suggestions on how to solve the crises of our time. Merete will talk about what it could look like if we tried to manipulate the climate system with atmospheric geoengineering on a large scale. This talk takes place at 1.30 pm.

In addition, Merete will also talk about rain together with Associate Professor Jesper Riis Christiansen and musician Kh Marie in the festival's format ‘Tankefrø’ (‘Thought Seed’) at 2.30 pm. The format takes place in an alternative stage setting, where scientific perspectives meet artistic and other practical perspectives on a specific natural phenomenon - in this case rain.

The festival is free to attend, and it runs from Friday 27 May to Sunday 29 May. You can read more about the festival and find the full programme here: https://www.bloom.ooo/
