She presented her work on identifying phase state changes in secondary organic aerosols from sabinene ozonolysis using online methods.

Baum, Department of Business Development and Technology, Aarhus University, to our center just before Easter for an interesting seminar on public perceptions of geoengineering.

Chads talk offered a valuable perspective that differs from how we usually approach atmospheric research. Geoengineering options, potentials and limitations are increasingly discussed, and by focusing on how geoengineering is understood, debated, and perceived beyond the scientific community, the seminar highlighted an important dimension of scientific work: Understanding the societal context of these discussions is important for responsible and impactful research. 

On the same day, we had the pleasure of hosting two other colleagues:

She received this honour for her outstanding PhD dissertation from the Department of Environmental Science, Stockholm University.
Sneha&#039;s work focused on the chemical composition of fresh and aged sea spray aerosol (SSA), bridging the gap between controlled laboratory simulations and complex ambient measurements. She has advanced both the methodology and the understanding of sea spray aerosol chemistry. 
We are happy that Sneha&#039;s journey continues with us in C3. Pontus gave an inspiring talk on how we can connect quantum chemical cluster calculations, atmospheric simulation chamber experiments, and advanced modelling tools, such as his own ADCHEM and ACHAM, to improve regional and global climate models. 

At the same time, we are happy to host Leah Williams from Aerodyne Research, who is visiting C3 to assist with AMS data treatment.  

Visits like these highlight the importance of collaboration across disciplines and institutions  from molecules to models, and from lab measurements to atmospheric impact.
