Georg has started as a PhD student in Center for Chemistry of Clouds. He is supervised by Assistant Professor Jonas Elm. We welcome him and look forward to follow his research. 

About his research he says: "I am looking at pyruvic acid in the atmosphere. The aim of my project is to assess the formation, growth, and stability of molecular clusters assembled from pyruvic acid together with water, ions, and organic acids. I will perform configurational sampling and high level quantum chemical calculations in order to determine binding free energies, hydrate distributions, gas-phase and particle-phase concentrations, lifetimes as well as optical properties of these molecular clusters."
