On August 1, 2025, Jule Janssen will join the Department of Chemistry as a new glassblower. She is a trained scientific glassblower from the Staatliche Berufsschule für Glasberufe in Zwiesel and has several years of experience for both production of glass equipment and custom manufacturing to order.

In her new position, Jule will be responsible for the development and maintenance of glass equipment for both research and teaching. She shall take over the task from Jens Christian Kondrup, who is now retired.
