This is a segmented µCT image of an icefish eye that was extracted and imaged after infiltration of the the vascular network with the contrast agent microfil. The image was measured on a Scanco CT 35 and won third place in the photo competition of the Danish National Research Foundation 2020, and is related to research published in eLife.
