The occupational Health and Safety organisation at the Department of Chemistry, also called Work Environment Committee (LAMU* in Danish) handles issues regarding health and safety at the Department.
The committee advises on the solution of specific health and safety problems and follows up on the effectiveness and preventive nature of health and safety work.

Your local work environment representative helps create the framework for a good physical and psychological work environment at the Department of Chemistry – in collaboration with you, your colleagues and the management team.
Even though your work environment representative is very aware of anything that may need to be changed in connection with your unit’s work environment, they still depend on your input as an employee. If you observe anything that you believe must be taken care of, then contact any work environment representative.
