On November 3–4, the C3 team gathered at Kysthotellet in Grenå for this year’s retreat - two inspiring days filled with science, collaboration, and community.

The program featured a rich mix of tutorials, science talks, and poster sessions, highlighting the diversity of research across C3. Participants shared new findings, exchanged ideas, and discussed future directions for collaboration.

A highlight of the retreat was the lively poster session and “Poster Mayhem Madness”, where researchers presented eachothers work in one-minute pitches before in-depth discussions over coffee and cake. In addition, walk-and-talk sessions and collaboration workshops encouraged new perspectives on how C3’s collective research contributes to understanding the atmosphere.

Of course, the retreat wasn’t all about science — there was also time for waders trip by the sea, board games, and the traditional Cloud Quiz, making space for informal conversations and plenty of laughter.

The event concluded with reflections on collaboration and impact, leaving everyone energized for the work ahead.
