Celine handed in a thesis with the title "Chemical Composition of Volatile Organic Compounds and Aerosols in the Arctic" focusing on the chemical composition of Arctic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and aerosols. She has worked both with ambient samples from the Arctic and laboratory-generated emissions from seaweed. Martine handed in a thesis with the title "Chemical Analysis of Aerosols in the Arctic Environment" focusing on nontarget analysis of ambient aerosols sampled during a research expedition in the High Arctic (part of the ARTofMELT campaign) and at Station Nord, Greenland.
