Phew - what an active week!
C3 combined traditions and sports this week. Tuesday, we went on the annual canoeing trip, and Thursday, we joined thousands of others in the DHL Relay Race.
The annual canoeing trip and the DHL Relay Race - two traditions in Cener for Chemsitry of Clouds - coincided this week.
On Tuesday, we had our annual canoeing trip, where as tradition prescribes, we started with breakfast at Associate Professor Marianne Glasius' place. Then we set sail (or at least grabbed the paddles) and canoed our way to Ry with a lunch break halfway. In Ry, the hard work of the day was celebrated with ice cream. Heading back to Aarhus and to a BBQ at Professor Merete Bildes including a refreshing swim in the ocean ended the day.
On Thursday, C3 tied our running shoes and participated in the DHL Relay Race. We had four teams running and one walking. We may not be the fastest, but we did have a good time!
