Welcome to Cesare and Andreas

C3 welcomes two new Postdocs for a joint project. Andreas Paul, supervised by Merete Bilde, and Cesare Meroni, supervised by Tobias Weidner, will collaborate to study the role of aerosol surface chemistry for the formation of clouds with implications for climate and ecosystems research. Andreas accomplished his PhD on particle emission and secondary aerosol formation from combustion sources at Forschungszentrum Jülich in 2025. He will now focus on the generation and characterization of aerosol particles at C3 using the AURA chamber. Cesare has a background in physics and accomplished his PhD at University of Caen Normandy in 2022. He will now will concentrate on the study of molecular structure at the surface of aerosols and water droplets at C3.
