ACTRIS-DK is the Danish division of the European research consortium ACTRIS. ACTRIS focuses on promoting high-quality data and information on short-lived atmospheric constituents, e.g. aerosols. Additionally, ACTRIS seeks to improve accessibility to atmospheric data and research facilities in the EU.

ACTRIS hope to participate in:

• Reducing uncertainties connected to emission sources and deposition processes
• Improve the understanding of global biogeochemical interactions between the atmosphere and ecosystems
• Understanding air pollution sources and how they negatively impact human health
• Provide complimentary measurements to Earth observations from space
