Research in the area of soft condensed matter: lipids, proteins, surfactants, polymers, block copolymers, and colloidal particles that have relevance in areas such as biological systems, dairy products, pharmaceuticals, and detergents.
Using small angle X-ray scattering as the main technique we can characterize these systems in terms of form, size, organisation, and polydispersity on a length scale of typically 1-400 nm.
