Read about our recent experiment at the DanMAX beamline, where we analysed 12 pieces along the length of a narwhal tusk to determine its chemical composition and biomineralization, both of which are important potential markers of the changing environment in the arctic.
Our groups are getting together for interesting discussions inspired by the impressive large-scale-facilities at the Paul Sherrer Institute in Switzerland, some of which are being used in our studies of the narwhal tusk nano- and microstructure.
