On 1 May 2026, Michael Grandt Normann joined the Department of Chemistry as a new research technician in the mechanical workshop. He brings experience from both smaller workshops and the military, and most recently worked as a CNC programmer in a private company in Vejle.

In his new role, he will contribute to the development, maintenance, and technical support of equipment used in both research and teaching activities at the department.

“I look forward to settling into the department, getting to know all of you, and, after a good introduction, taking on my new role as a research technician.”, says Michael.
